Course Hero

Course Hero is a profitable education platform that crowdsources learning materials such as school notes, study guides and flashcards to support students and educators in their classes.

I currently lead all aspects of mobile design for both our iOS and Android apps.

Stockpile

Stockpile is an online stock trading platform for adults and children.

As the only UX designer/engineer they had, I worked on various high-impact projects such as their homepage, conversion funnel analysis, and portfolio dashboard.

Grace Hopper 2015

I was a selected speaker at GHC 2015 in Houston for their Internet of Things, Emerging Technology segment. My topic was on the improvement of patient experience within hospital facilities and over 1000 attendees were at my session!

Prescription Order

This is a prescription order feature for a large healthcare provider client that I worked on while I was with PwC. I redesigned a pharmacy feature for Android and iOS as a version 2 of the existing redesign and received great feedback after my demo.

PwC Consulting

I spent two years on PwC's UX team delivering apps to clients. Some projects I've had a chance to dabble in include the healthcare app mentioned above, team sites, dashboards, a Google Glass prototype, and BLE beacons.

  • Lead mobile design at Course Hero. Deliver iOS/Android designs and collaborate with product team to see features through production. Piloted and built formal user research and prototyping process into design team. Redesigned iOS and Android applications for a company-wide rebranding initiative. Created UX styleguide and componentized UI to bridge design-engineering communication. Since I joined, iOS hit all-time high on the App Store as top 6 grossing education app in Nov 2016. Android hit all-time high as top 4 grossing education app in Mar 2017. All-time traffic increased by 3x in less than a year.
